What is SEO Green Bay?
Before we get into it, if you are a local business, then local SEO is what you should be searching for. You want the best SEO services to help your company grow, but make sure the company you work with has in-depth knowledge and that their information is up to date.
SEO is a type of Search Engine Optimization specifically designed with geographic targeting in mind – this means that Google optimizes its indexing algorithms so they can provide more relevant results when someone does a specific query like “bakery near me.” When done correctly, this will show the results of the most optimized bakery websites.
The closer you are to a business the more likely it is to show up in your search. But with a lot of extra effort, real SEO can make your search reach even farther!
Local Search Engine Optimization
Do you want your website to be on the first page of Google for your main keyword so that visitors can find your business online? I hope you answered with a resounding YES!
Local SEO is a great way to increase your service-based business’s visibility on search engines. With just over 200 ranking factors, you need to make sure you get your website done right!
Why do I need local SEO?
If you want more traffic on your website, it’s so important to make sure that your website is positioned in the SERPs (Search Engine Result Pages). What do I mean by “positioned”? When someone searches for a specific keyword related to what your company does or sells, they should be able to find you easily on the first page of Google. If not, then how will any potential customers know about your amazing services, right?
Local SEO is an effective way of getting higher rankings on Google SERPs because local businesses are always looking for ways to market their company. Allowing people who live nearby to find your business when they search for your main keyword is a must.
Every year, over 70% of people searching for local services will click on a Google search result and 60% of people visiting a local website from one of those clicks will contact that business! That’s not even counting customers who find you through other means like referrals or links to your site found elsewhere online. This is why it’s so important that if you want to be successful with your company, then competitive keywords should become an integral part of a business strategy.
The benefits don’t stop at just being able to receive more visitors; this increase in traffic also has a positive effect on conversion rates as well. When searchers are presented with more than one option when looking up what they need on the internet or Google, they normally click on the top results
Do you want more people to call your business phone number? Being on the first page of Google is where it’s at. But, being on the top of Google is even better. Make sure you are getting many great reviews on your GBP (Google Business Profile) too!
Where do I find local SEO services in Green Bay?
When doing a Green Bay search for “local SEO”, you will find them.
Look at the first page results and see who is on the top, both in the Maps and the organic search results.
Also, one of the things that distinguish a great SEO service provider from an average one is their understanding and knowledge of content. Content drives the traffic to your site, so it’s important to make sure you have enough on your website!
Is mobile website design important?
Local search engines drive the majority of traffic to a business’s website. In fact, up to 90% of all searches on mobile devices are local-related! As such, it makes sense for your company to optimize its web presence not only for desktop but also mobile in order to make sure that you rank well on both of these platforms. With the correct web design, you get a responsive mobile web design.
Google has two sets of algorithms, one for desktop and one for mobile. For both of these, site speed and relevance of keywords are just some of the main factors.
How much does local SEO marketing cost?
Some Agencies charge monthly fees and put you on a monthly “backlink package deal”, whatever that is. They charge monthly fees for backlinks and who knows what! Some will upgrade you because their backlink package didn’t do anything and sell you higher and higher packages. Don’t fall that type of marketing. Most times it can hurt your website more than it can help.
What you need is a company that will set up your site the right way so that you get results, not just have your website back linked to other websites. You are paying for services, not numbers of links your site!
Our job is not to get you on a monthly retainer (although some may need to continue with our services). Our job is to get your business up in the SERPs and get your business the results it deserves. The services we provide takes two months of work on our part, we offer a one-time fee or it can be split into two payments. This is a real investment for businesses seeking to establish an online presence that will help them dominate their market.

About the City of Green Bay Wisconsin:
Green Bay is a city in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The county seat of Brown County is at the head of Green Bay (known locally as “the bay of Green Bay”), a sub-basin of Lake Michigan, at the mouth of the Fox River. It is 581 feet (177 m) above sea level and 112 miles (180 km) north of Milwaukee. As of the 2020 Census, Green Bay had a population of 107,395, making it the third-largest in the state of Wisconsin, after Milwaukee and Madison, and the third-largest city on Lake Michigan, after Chicago and Milwaukee.
Green Bay is the principal city of the Green Bay Metropolitan Statistical Area, which covers Brown, Kewaunee, and Oconto counties. Green Bay is well known for being home to the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League.
Wisconsin’s first newspaper, The Green Bay Intelligencer, was started in 1833. The borough of Green Bay, created in 1838, is the center of the present-day city. The borough combined the town of Astoria (a company town of the American Fur Company), with Navarino, platted by Daniel Whitney. Before Wisconsin became a state in 1848, its commerce was based on the fur trade, which became dominated by John Jacob Astor’s American Fur Company. After statehood, there was a shift away from fur trading toward lumbering. “For a short time in the 1860s and 1870s, iron smelting in charcoal kilns rivaled the timber industry while the port handled increasing amounts of fuel, feed, and lumber. Today’s major local industry had its start in 1865 when the first paper mill was built.”
By 1850 the town had a population of 1,923. The town was incorporated as the city of Green Bay in 1854. The Green Bay Area Public School District was founded in 1856. Throughout the 1850s, word spread of America’s cheap land and good soil, bringing in an influx of Belgian people, German, Scandinavian, Irish and Dutch immigrants, each adding to the culture. The greatest concentration of newcomers came from Belgium. They cleared the land to farm and build their homes.
The railroad arrived in the 1860s. The three railroads that would reach Green Bay were the Chicago & North Western (C&NW), SOO Line, (SOO), and the Milwaukee Road (MILW). These railroads were highways that allowed people and products to travel all over the state, increasing business and trade opportunities. The area was able to grow and enrich itself with the use of the river and the plentiful timber resources. This led to the paper industry becoming the major employer in Green Bay, and opened up the port for international trade.
